Tread-Ring Line Refined for Stronger Bonding and Less Rework
For the tread-ring (pre-cured tread) process, YTON has refined how the line's machines work together, focusing on more uniform tread pressing and stronger bonding to help plants cut de-bonding and rework.
A tread-ring line typically includes a tread press, ring mounter, tread cutter, and spot vulcanizer. Unlike cold retreading, which lays a strip of tread gum, the ring process uses a full pre-cured tread ring; only when the steps are well matched do the bonding area and pressure between tread and casing stay consistent. As the trade says, the cushion gum is what "holds the tread to the casing"; common de-bonding usually traces to uneven pressing, cushion-gum quality, or cure temperature and pressure — get these three right and the finished tire's mileage and safety are assured.
