What does the equipment for a tyre retreading plant cost?

This is the question we get most often. Below are the reference prices published on our site, by line capacity (RMB, ex-works; freight, consumables and the building itself not included):

Machines can also be bought individually — a curing chamber runs RMB 70,000–135,000, a gantry buffing machine RMB 44,000–50,000, a gantry building machine RMB 25,000–29,000, a gum extruder about RMB 4,500.

**Why prices move.** Three things: steel and rubber prices, chamber size and number of tyre positions, and configuration level (buffing machines come in manual, standard and CNC versions, and the gap between them can be close to double). Treat the figures above as a reference; the quotation is what counts. A complete line is normally cheaper than adding the machines up one by one.

**Budget beyond the machines**: workshop and power supply work, air compressor and piping, moulds and consumables (envelopes, curing rims, flaps, precured tread), freight and duties, and the ramp-up period while operators are still learning. First-time plant owners most often forget consumables and freight.

**How we quote for export**: usually FOB Ningbo including export packing. A complete line fits into one or two 40 ft containers depending on configuration, and we can provide a container loading plan. Payment is normally 30% deposit to start production, balance before shipment.
