Upgraded Dust-Extraction Buffing Machine for Cleaner Shop Floors

Upgraded Dust-Extraction Buffing Machine for Cleaner Shop Floors

YTON has rolled out a new round of upgrades to its dust-extraction buffing machine, refining the cyclone hood and airflow path so rubber crumb from buffing is captured more efficiently — cutting airborne dust and improving the working environment.

Buffing is the dustiest step in retreading: buffing a single truck tire produces several kilograms of crumb, and if it is not collected promptly it fouls the shop, affects workers' health, and accelerates wear on the equipment. The upgraded cyclone-separation and collection system keeps buffing efficiency while gathering crumb in one place for easier disposal or reuse — buffing crumb is itself a feedstock for reclaimed rubber and crumb products, so recovering it well is both cleaner and value-creating, in keeping with the industry's green-circular direction.

The upgrade is available on newly purchased machines, and some in-service standard buffers can be retrofitted with cyclone extraction. Contact us for a fit assessment.
