New Curved CNC Buffing Machine: Retread Buffing Enters the CNC Era

YTON (Mingtong Machinery) has released a new-generation curved CNC buffing machine. As the high-end model in our buffing line above the economy and standard types, it uses full CNC path control that automatically matches the buffing radius to each tire profile — TBR, OTR, or passenger — for a smoother crown-to-shoulder transition and a more even, fuller buffed texture.

Buffing is the most experience-dependent step in retreading: radius, depth, and roughness directly decide how well the new tread bonds to the casing. The traditional economy model relies on a veteran's feel and varies from shift to shift; the CNC model, with servo feed and full CNC control, lets the operator simply select the tire parameters while the machine buffs the full circumference on its own — holding depth error to the millimetre level and markedly improving consistency across batches and shifts.

The new machine keeps our three-tier positioning: economy for small and mid-size plants, standard for a balance of speed and cost, CNC for high consistency and lower labour. An integrated cyclone dust unit efficiently recovers buffing crumb and improves the shop-floor environment. Voltages can be customized — 380V/50Hz, 220V/60Hz, 440V/60Hz and more — to suit different export grids.

The machine is now open for orders and can be configured to your casings, output, and budget. Visit the factory for a trial run, or leave a message on our website for a detailed proposal and quotation.
